What is Volunteering?

Volunteering is when individuals share their knowledge, time, and skills for the benefit of society without expecting any financial return. Volunteers play active roles in various fields such as environment, education, health, culture, youth, and sports, thereby strengthening social solidarity. This process contributes not only to society but also to the personal development of the individual.


What is the European Solidarity Corps (ESC)?

The European Solidarity Corps (ESC) is a volunteering program managed by the European Commission for young people aged 18–30. ESC enables young people to participate in volunteering activities either in their own country or abroad. The program aims to help young people get involved in socially beneficial projects, experience different cultures, and support their personal growth.
