We’re taking disaster awareness from the classroom to the field!
* The “Protect Your Future with Disaster Awareness (You FuTuRe)” project, which we’re carrying out under the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) program, is moving full steam ahead.
* Our volunteers from Turkey, Azerbaijan, the Czech Republic, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, and Greece are meeting with children and youth in Yozgat to carry out disaster awareness activities. Together, we’re learning what we can do in the face of earthquakes, fires, floods, and other disasters, and we’re raising awareness through games, hands-on activities, and fun events.
* In this project, we’re not just talking about disaster preparedness; we’re also meeting young people from different cultures, sharing our experiences, and making new friends.
* In the coming days, we’ll continue to be out in the field at more schools, with more young people, and through more activities!
* Being prepared saves lives. Learning, sharing, and standing together make us stronger.
