We successfully completed our two-day orıentatıon program ın Istanbul wıth our volunteers.
As part of the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) programme, supported by the European Commission (EACEA) and coordinated by SORGED, we successfully completed our two-day orientation programme with our international volunteers in İstanbul within the scope of our project "Protect Your Future with Disaster Awareness (You FuTuRe)".
Over the course of two days, our volunteers were welcomed with a cake-cutting ceremony and get-to-know activities, followed by a detailed introduction to the project including volunteer rights, rules and responsibilities. The orientation continued with contract signings and a Youthpass session covering the 8 Key Competences in depth. The four-week project programme was shared with the volunteers and their expectations were discussed. Partner organisations were introduced and the two days concluded with one-on-one mentor meetings.
We are proud to host young volunteers from Türkiye, Spain, France, and Ukraine under the umbrella of İlk Sen Ol Youth Movement Association.
