As part of the “Protect Your Future with Disaster Awareness (You FuTuRe)” project we are implementing under the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) program, we visited Mr. Mehmet Ali Özkan, the Governor of Yozgat, at his office together with our international volunteers based in Yozgat.
During the meeting, information was shared about the activities our young volunteers from Turkey, Azerbaijan, the Czech Republic, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, and Greece will carry out in Yozgat over the next 30 days.
During this period, our volunteers will organize various events in the areas of disaster awareness, social resilience, and youth initiatives, while also having the opportunity to explore Yozgat’s historical, cultural, and natural beauty.
Governor Mehmet Ali Özkan emphasized the importance of young people contributing value to society through volunteerism and wished our project team and volunteers success.
