We came ınto contact wıth the soıl
As part of our “Protect Your Future with Disaster Awareness (You FuTuRe)” project, coordinated by SORGED under the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) program and supported by EACEA (European Commission), we got our hands dirty this time.
The You FuTuRe team visited a local farmer’s garden in Sultangazi—joined by Sultangazi District Governor Mahmut Kaşıkçı, Deputy Mayor Mustafa Birinci, District Agriculture Director Kemal Benli, and the farmer himself, Cemal Abi.
We harvested parsley and black kale, enjoyed a barbecue together, drove a tractor, and shared great conversations with everyone there. Connecting with the land and the people of this community is just as much a part of this journey.
