Proper and safe response to fıres
As part of the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) program supported by the European Commission, our volunteers are continuing their hands-on training on disaster preparedness through our You FuTuRe project, implemented by the Sorgun Youth Association (SORGED).
* In the training sessions conducted by the Yozgat Provincial Directorate of AFAD, our volunteers are gaining theoretical knowledge on:
* Setting up tents during disasters and emergencies,
* Responding to fires correctly and safely,
* Using firefighting equipment
gained theoretical knowledge and participated in hands-on exercises on these topics.
Through these trainings, we aim to increase our volunteers’ awareness and preparedness for disasters while also developing their ability to act correctly and safely in emergency situations.
We are learning, putting what we learn into practice, and growing stronger together to build communities that are more aware, prepared, and resilient in the face of disasters.
