Our Volunteers Have Completed Theır Traınıng
As part of the “Protect Your Future with Disaster Awareness (You FuTuRe)” project, which is supported by the European Commission and implemented under the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) program, our international volunteers from Turkey, Azerbaijan, the Czech Republic, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, and Greece participated in comprehensive training on disaster awareness and preparedness.
As part of the training program, volunteers received both theoretical and practical training on search-and-rescue operations during earthquakes. Participants had the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills regarding proper response methods during disasters, safe working principles, and basic search-and-rescue techniques.
Another key component of the program was mountaineering training. During the training, volunteers gained hands-on experience in navigating safely in nature, using equipment, orientation, and teamwork in challenging conditions.
Thanks to these trainings, the young participants not only gained significant insights toward becoming disaster-prepared individuals but also strengthened the spirit of international cooperation and solidarity.
