October 13 | Internatıonal Day for Dısaster Rısk Reductıon
Being prepared for disasters saves lives!
Today, as part of the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction on October 13, we joined forces with the volunteers of our “You FuTuRe – Protect Your Future with Disaster Awareness” project to highlight the importance of being prepared for disasters.
During our event, we explained to our community members why a disaster and emergency kit is important, what supplies it should contain, and the simple yet vital precautions that can be taken before a disaster strikes.
Together with our diverse group of volunteers, we continue to work toward raising disaster awareness in the community and promoting a culture of preparedness.
Because we know that disaster preparedness begins before a disaster strikes!
