Future Teams Volunteers
We hosted 6 volunteers from Romania, Hungary, France, Italy, Ukraine, and Slovakia for 30 days as part of the You Future Project coordinated by SORGED-Sorgun Youth Association.
What do volunteers do?
- Teach the basic principles of first aid.
- Help prevent and prepare for natural disasters and emergencies.
Volunteer activities are carried out with children aged 3 to 10 at Santa Casa da Misericárdia de Oliveira de Azeméis, Outeiro Primary School, Agrupamento de Escolas Ferreira de Castro-OAZ, and Jardim de Anaokulu.
This project involves the National Emergency Coordination - Portuguese Red Cross, Freguesia da Vila de Cucujães, and Bombeiros Voluntários de Oliveira de Azeméis
We invite the entire community to learn more about this project and join our volunteer team at the Intercultural Afternoon event, which will begin at 1:30 p.m. on January 30, 2026, at the Cucujães Cultural Center.
