Dısaster event

Within the framework of our “Protect Your Future with Disaster Awareness (You FuTuRe)” project, coordinated by SORGED under the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) programme, supported by EACEA (European Commission), this weekend we created, reflected, and stepped into the spotlight. Split into 3 groups, we designed emergency awareness posters for children, youth, and adults — and got them done. Then we presented our work to each other, because a good poster only matters when it reaches the right person.

In the afternoon, we moved into real disaster scenarios. How do you correct misinformation spreading on social media after an earthquake?

How do you calmly guide a panicking family in a disaster zone? How do you speak clearly and reassuringly as an institutional spokesperson?

Each pair chose their scenario, prepared, and acted it out.

Then came the rapid-fire round — 10 seconds to think, one solution per emergency, across 6 different crisis situations.
