COMPETITION ON THE FIELD, FRIENDSHIP IN OUR HEARTS!
FRIENDSHIP was the winner of this match!
???????????????????????????????? ???????????????? Our volunteers from Turkey, Germany, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Italy, and Ukraine successfully completed the disaster awareness and hands-on training sessions organized by the Yozgat AFAD Provincial Directorate as part of our “You FuTuRe – Protect Your Future with Disaster Awareness” project. ????
Following the training sessions, participation certificates were presented to our volunteers by Mr. Ömer Bozkurt, Director of the Yozgat AFAD Provincial Directorate.
This meaningful gathering then continued with a friendly volleyball match between AFAD staff and our international volunteers.
On the court, there was friendly competition, plenty of laughter, and unforgettable moments. Young people from different countries and AFAD staff came together in the same team spirit.
Different countries, different languages, but a shared spirit: Solidarity!
Because we know that the path to building resilient communities against disasters lies not only in knowledge and skills, but also in trust, cooperation, and friendship.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all AFAD staff—especially our Yozgat AFAD Provincial Director, Mr. Ömer Bozkurt—who shared their knowledge and experience with our volunteers during the training and warmly welcomed us.
We were empowered by training, united by solidarity, and succeeded through friendship!
