BASIC FIRST AID IN DISASTERS
Our 30-day volunteer project, carried out under the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) supported by the European Commission, is continuing at full speed. A total of 10 international volunteers from Turkey, Azerbaijan, France, Italy, Lithuania, Ukraine, and Poland gathered in Yozgat with the aim of creating more aware and prepared communities against disasters.
Today, as part of the program run by the District Health Directorate, Specialist Dr. Mehmet ŞAN gave a training session on “Basic First Aid in Disasters.” The training covered the importance of responding correctly in the event of a disaster, life-saving first aid practices, and acting consciously in times of crisis, both theoretically and practically.
We would like to thank District Health Director Specialist Dr. Onur TÜRKÖN, first and foremost, as well as Specialist Dr. Mehmet ŞAN, who shared his valuable knowledge and experience with our volunteers.
We continue to learn and grow stronger together for a more resilient society against disasters.
