As part of the YOU FUTURE project, we continued learning about disaster preparedness!

We started with an interactive workshop on emergency kits, discussing the essential items that should be included and why being prepared can make a significant difference during emergencies.

Later, we welcomed a guest speaker from AFAD Sultangazi. Our guest shared firsthand experiences from working in the field during the 6 February Kahramanmaraş earthquakes and explained the challenges and realities of disaster response operations.

The session gave us a deeper understanding of the impact of disasters and reminded us of the importance of preparedness, solidarity, and reliable information.
